Bert Stern was an influential American photographer who capture an astounding amount of movie stars during his time at Vogue Magazine. The photographer is best known for working with starlet Marilyn Monroe in a number of classic and candid photographs. Over 2,500 photos of their sessions together exist, and it’s obvious that the relationship between the photographer and subject was a perfect pairing. The sessions have since been dubbed “The Last Sitting” and were shot over a span of 3 days, just 6 weeks before Marilyn’s death.
