On June 28th Warholian teamed up with the California Academy Sciences for a special edition of Thursday evening Nightlife entitled “Gallery Crawl”.
Warholian featured artists Steve Javiel, Brenton Bostwick, and Megan Wolfe painting live alongside Ever Gold Gallery, Spoke Art, performance artist Adam Reed Rozan and his team, Electric Works Gallery, and Million Fishes Art Collective.
Steve Javiel brought forth his deconstructive style while painting before museum goers, as artist Megan Wolfe continuesd to evolve her exploration of abstract pigeon forms in her art. Brenton Bostwick brought a small U-Haul direct from his studio, offering patrons the opportunity to explore his aesthetic workspace, as well as his large scale sculptural forms. All three artists represented individuals within our San Francisco art community that push their art, and themselves to achieving artistic success. We here at Warholian were proud to highlight them at the California Academy of Sciences, and look forward to working with all three in the future!
Spoke Art featured artists Brett Amory, Peter Adamyan, Eddie Colla, Serge Gay Jr. and Jessica Hess as well – all extremely talented, and a wonderful addition to the evening.
Adam Rozan presented another amazing performance art piece entitled “Carassius Auratus Auratus Goldfish Society” alongside Lonnie Shekhtman, Danielle Marie Grant, and Rue Flaherty. They were on location at the museum to discuss the importance of the modern day goldfish, and it’s role in the animal kingdom. Overall, an amazing job by this creative team of artists.
A highlight to our evening was the “Warholian Collins” cocktail featured at the bar. This is the first time we’ve had a drink named after us, and what a delicious drink it was.
We want to personally thank Peter Arko and Meg Napoli (of the Cal Academy of Sciences) for all of their hard work bringing all of us together under their roof!
We had a great time,
