The third edition of Beyond Eden Art Fair opened to Los Angeles fair goers the first weekend of October. From all accounts this was the place to be, billed as a ” multi-gallery event celebrating the New Contemporary Art Movement”.  Beyond Eden was presented by Lee Joseph Publicity for the Visual Arts, Warholian, Arrested Motion, Blik Wall Graphics, Color Ink Book, Daily Dujour, Hi-Fructose, Juxtapoz, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery Associates (LAMAGA), Sketch Theater, and Sour Harvest was free to the general public.

Showcasing some of the top artists in the new contemporary art movement, notable names such as Spoke Art, C.A.V.E. Gallery, Copro Gallery, Gallery Nucleus, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Toy Art Gallery, and Thinkspace Gallery were just some to exhibit a fine collection of amazing artists and their work.

Especially notable was Spoke Art‘s “Quentin vs. Cohen Round III”, a tribute to the films of filmmakers Quentin Tarantino and the Cohen Brothers. Successfully blending art and pop culture, curator Ken Harman, has created a triage of shows that appeals to more than just your typical art buyer. Notable artists in “Quentin vs. Cohen Round III” were Audrey Pongracz, Peter Adamyan, Max Dalton, Cate Rangel, Robert Bowen and many more.

From what we heard of the buzz during the Los Angeles art fair weekend, Beyond Eden was an exceptional event that should not be missed in 2012!
