On September 15th, thirteen of the most talented, established and renowned Australian street artists came to San Francisco to, literally paint the town. Consisting of artists Anthony Lister, Dabs & Myla, Kid Zoom, Dmote, New2, Meggs, Ben Frost, HaHa, Reka, Sofles, Rone and Vexta, this impressive group of Aussies were all featured artists in “Young & Free” a street art exhibition at internationally recognized gallery 941 Geary. “Young & Free” is most certainly a landmark show, curators of the show said that it is the “most significant exhibition by Australian street artists ever seen in the United States”… and we agree with them.

In between install of the show this free spirited bunch put up some murals throughout San Francisco, enjoy the photos by Warholian’s Michael Cuffe.

Young & Free is on view at 941 Geary until October 22, 2011. For more information visit: http://www.941geary.com/
